Beneath the surface....

my garden is alive! Alive with little beings.....
who live in their own secret world, far away from prying eyes.
Of Humans, who would want to capture them.
And put them in cages.
And study them.

Under the leaves, in the shadows, the faerie spirits dwell.
They are the ones who make magic.
They are the ones who weave the spells,
to make Our gardens grow.

They are the ones who bring magical and medicinal properties to herbs,
for healing, for changing, for growing.

Welcome them into your garden.
You won't be sorry.

Oh Wendy, you made me laugh out loud with your comment "we'll just drink from the bottle"...my kind of woman!!! KJ broke the wine glasses, but her comment posted as anomynous. I love your fairy poem. I think I saw one of your fairies in my garden by the pond last night, warming up. **kisskiss** Deb

Hi Deborah, I knew one of my faeries was missing! So he was checking out your pond, and probably sneaking drinks from your wine bottles when nobody was looking. I'll have to give him a talking to!! LOL!

Such beautiful words Wendy. I look forward to magical garden. My fairies this year went to higher ground. With all the water we had this summer.

Oh yes!! We have always welcomed the wee folk into our garden...it runs just wild enough to be tempting...;)

The milk and honey doesn't hurt, either, I'm sure...;)

Hi Renee,
We're doing just fine here, thank you. Hubby is having a good summer, after getting off to a bad start in May and June. Things have settled down and we're enjoying what summer there is here. I'm hoping the rain will quit soon. It's been really rainy. But, the sun will shine - it's got to at some point!!

How well you weave the tale of the Fairies and Little Spirits, so magical, so mystical. May they grace your garden with goodness and dance in the woods with Joy. And may your music be unending and your life be oh so Blessed. Such a fun and spirited post. I will never walk in the woods or look at gardens quite the same. As a matter of fact, I'll be looking at them with even more magic and Joy. Love and Light, Nina P.

My garden is filled with little friends. I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thinks so. My family think I'm nuts--my friends indulge my imaginative eye.

I really enjoyed this blog entry!
